Hanwag GmbH is a German manufacturer of mountaineering boots and hiking boot headquartered in Vierkirchen.

In 1936, Hans Wagner supplied the first ski boots for the Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, at that time still made of leather.
