Harold Murphy (April 1, 1938 – January 5, 2015) was an American politician.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Murphy served in the United States Army reserves.
[1] In 1985, he unsuccessfully ran for mayor as a write-in candidate.
In 1987, he was elected to the board of trustees of the Thornton Community College (South Suburban College) on a slate organized by incumbent member Frank Zuccarelli.
