Harold Taylor (Australian politician)

Harold Bourne "Squizzy" Taylor (25 February 1892 – 6 December 1972) was a Company executive and member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly.

He was then promoted to major and awarded the Distinguished Service Order in 1918. from 1918 until 1919 he was a member of the Brisbane Military Censorship Committee.

[3] Harold Taylor died in December 1972 at Redland Bay[1] and was cremated at Mt Thompson Crematorium.

[3] In 1947, Taylor, at first a member of the QPP and then the Liberal Party from 1948, easily won the seat of Hamilton at that year's state election.

He was President of the Babinda Chamber of Commerce and Returned and Services League of Australia (South-East District branch) in 1919 and from 1929 to 1931.
