Haroun Ali Suleiman (born 24 July 1953) is a Zanzibari politician who served as the member of the Tanzanian Parliament from 2005 to 2010.

He was appointed Minister of Education, Culture and Sports in 2000 after being elected Member of House of Representatives, Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar for 2000 – 2005.

He has also served in various capacities: Principal Secretary (1996-2000); Deputy Director Planning (1993-5).

[2] He also successfully managed to do the following; Mr Haroun Suleiman is a former Minister of Education in Tanzania (Zanzibar) from 2001 up to 2010.

He hosted the SACMEQ Managing Committee meeting that was held in Zanzibar in 2005.
