Harrison Public Schools

The Harrison Public Schools is a comprehensive public school district serving students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, located in the municipality of Harrison, in Hudson County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

The new Harrison High School is located at the intersection of Kingsland Avenue and Hamilton Street in the northeastern corner of the town on the former site of Clayton Container.

The new Harrison High School located on Hamilton Street between Kingsland and Schuyler Avenues opened to students in grades 9–12.

As a Type I school district, the board's trustees are appointed by the mayor to serve three-year terms of office on a staggered basis, with three members up for reappointment each year.
