Henry Edward Askew (31 December 1917 – 31 October 1986) was a British athlete who competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics.
[2] Askew finished second behind William Breach in the long jump event at the 1939 AAA Championships[3][4] before his career was interrupted by World War II.
At the 1948 Olympic Games in London, he competed in the men's long jump competition.
[5] In 1950, Askew became the national long jump champion after winning the British AAA title.
