Harry Curran was born June 2, 1894, in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
[1] He entered the Massachusetts Agricultural College (MAC), today's University of Massachusetts–Amherst, in 1912, winning a spot on the Aggies' football team at the left tackle position.
[2] He was well-regarded by his peers, gaining election as team captain for 1915.
[3] After his time in athletics came to an end, Curran worked as a livestock buyer for Swift and Company.
[3] Curran retired in 1968 and moved to St. Petersburg Beach, Florida.
