Harry Gittleson (September 27, 1899 – October 1979) was an American lawyer and politician from New York.
He was born on September 27, 1899,[1] in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
He attended school in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
In November 1962, he was elected to the New York City Civil Court.
[5] In 1977, he was appointed by the court as temporary guardian of serial killer "Son of Sam" David Berkowitz.
