Hartford is a suburban American city in Minnehaha County, South Dakota, a few miles northwest of Sioux Falls.

Of the 661 households 48.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.0% were married couples living together, 12.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.1% were non-families.
