[2][3] In December 2021, Khan was called up to the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team for the 2022 Under-19 World Cup.

[7] In March 2022, he made his List A debut for Balochistan in the 2021–22 Pakistan Cup against Northern.

[10] In September 2022, he made his first-class debut for Balochistan in the 2022–23 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In March 2023, he made his PSL debut for Peshawar Zalmi and scored a half-century.

[11] In December 2022, alongside Saim Ayub and Ihsanullah, Khan was one of the three youngsters selected to share a dressing room with the national squad for the second Test match of the New Zealand series.
