Henriette Chandet

Henriette Chandet (2 November 1901 - 8 June 1989) was a French Catholic feminist, columnist, and historian,[1] born in Paris on 2 November 1901.

[2] She served as the director of the periodical L'Union nationale des femmes (National Union for the Vote for Women),[1] the organ of the Union Nationale pour le Vote des Femmes (UNVF).

Chandet was a recipient of the Prix d’Académie [fr] (1956), the Prix Broquette-Gonin (philosophy) (1958), and the Prix Broquette-Gonin (literature) (1962).
