Henry Balink

Henry Balink (1882–1963) was a Dutch-born American painter, draughtsman and etcher from Santa Fe, New Mexico.

[1] Born in Amsterdam, he was trained at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and emigrated to the United States.

[2] He first lived in Taos, New Mexico, in 1917 and settled in Santa Fe in 1924.

[2] Balink painted portraits of Native Americans.

[3] It is in the collections of the Kansas City Art Institute and the Gilcrease Museum.
