Henry Davie (New York politician)

Henry Davie (August 3, 1833 – October 12, 1908) was an American lawyer and politician from New York.

He studied law under Judge William Murphy and was admitted to the bar in 1869.

He then practiced law in the village of Delhi and formed a partnership with his brother-in-law Judge Daniel T.

In 1890, he was elected to the New York State Assembly as a Democrat, representing Delaware County.

[1] He was initially a Republican until 1872, when he supported the Horace Greeley campaign and became a Democrat.
