Henry John Mello (March 27, 1924 – September 4, 2004) was an American politician from California.
Mello attended Watsonville High School[2] and Hartnell College in Salinas, California.
[2] In 1966, Mello was elected to the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors.
[2][3] Mello was elected to the California State Assembly from District 28 in 1976, and was re-elected in 1978.
Term limits enacted in 1990 forced Mello's retirement from the Senate in 1996.
