Herman Ralph Wehmeier (February 18, 1927 – May 21, 1973) was an American professional baseball player, a right-handed pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds (1945 and 1947–54), Philadelphia Phillies (1954–56), St. Louis Cardinals (1956–58) and Detroit Tigers (1958).
Wehmeier stood 6 feet 2 inches (188 cm) tall and weighed 185 pounds (84 kg; 13.2 st).
He was born in Cincinnati, and died in Dallas, Texas due to a heart attack, at the age of 46, while he was testifying in an embezzlement trial.
Signed by the Cincinnati Reds out of high school, he went on to play 16 years in the major leagues.
