Herman M. Albert

Herman M. Albert (August 15, 1901 – February 4, 1947) was a Jewish-American lawyer and politician.

He then began a general law practice in New York City.

[2] In 1925, he was elected to the New York State Assembly as a Democrat, representing the Bronx County 4th District.

He was re-elected for a third four-year term in 1941, but the office of County Register was abolished that year and replaced with a city-wide Register appointed by the Mayor.

[1] Albert died in Montefiore Hospital from a five-year illness on February 4, 1947.
