Herman Carsten Johannes Scheel (18 January 1859 – 29 September 1956) was a Norwegian judge and politician for the Conservative Party.
He was the elder brother of the portrait painter Signe Scheel (1860–1942)[2] He was married to Sara Leonore Sandberg.
Following studies in Berlin and London, he was from 1887 a research fellow and lecturer at the Royal Frederick University.
