Hideko Nishioka (西岡秀子, Nishioka Hideko) (born 15 March 1964) is a Japanese politician, representing Nagasaki 1st district in the House of Representatives; first for the Kibō no Tō and then for the Democratic Party For the People.
She earned a law degree from Gakushūin University, before becoming a parliamentary assistant to her father, a member of the House of Representatives of Japan.
[1] In January 2016, she ran for office, nominated by the Democratic Party of Japan.
She failed to be elected, and lost to incumbent councillor Genjirō Kaneko.
