Highland, Washington

Highland is a unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Benton County, Washington, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 27.6 square miles (71.6 km2), of which, 27.6 square miles (71.5 km2) of it is land and 0.04% is water.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 3,388 people, 1,108 households, and 935 families residing in the CDP.

The racial makeup of the CDP is 92.38% White, 0.27% Black or African American, 0.38% Native American, 0.68% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 3.66% from other races, and 2.60% from two or more races.

11.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
