East Troy is a town in Walworth County, Wisconsin, United States.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 3,830 people, 1,427 households, and 1,104 families residing in the town.

There were 1,753 housing units at an average density of 57.8 per square mile (22.3/km2).

The racial makeup of the town was 98.36% White, 0.23% Black or African American, 0.10% Native American, 0.23% Asian, 0.37% from other races, and 0.70% from two or more races.

17.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
