They were based in Hilo, Hawaii, and played their home games at Vulcan Field and Wong Stadium.

Former players include Ichiro Suzuki, Bill Mueller,[1] Adam Kennedy, Shane Spencer, Preston Wilson, R.A. Dickey, and Tsuyoshi Shinjo.
