[5] On 24 June 2016, Kiyotake transferred to La Liga side Sevilla on a four year contract, following Hannover 96's relegation from the Bundesliga.

[14] On 5 June 2013, Kiyotake was called up to the Japan squad for the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.
