Hirschthal

Hirschthal is a municipality in the district of Aarau of the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.

Of the rest of the land, 14.1% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (0.3%) is non-productive (rivers or lakes).

The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Argent on a Base Vert a Deer salient Gules.

[4] The age distribution, as of 2008[update], in Hirschthal is; 164 children or 11.5% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 171 teenagers or 12.0% are between 10 and 19.

[10] In the 2007 federal election the most popular party was the SVP which received 45.2% of the vote.

[11] From the 2000 census[update], 268 or 22.8% are Roman Catholic, while 714 or 60.7% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.
