Holly Springs is a city in Cherokee County, Georgia, United States.

The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the place in 1906 as the Town of Holly Springs.

[5] According to tradition, the city was named from a stand of holly trees near a spring at the original town site.

[6] Holly Springs is located south of the center of Cherokee County at 34°9′59″N 84°30′4″W / 34.16639°N 84.50111°W / 34.16639; -84.50111 (34.166478, -84.501016).
