Honoré Boyer de Fonscolombe

Honoré Boyer de Fonscolombe (1683–1743) was a French aristocrat, lawyer and public official.

[1] His father, Denis Boyer, was a Consul in the Parlement of Aix-en-Provence.

[3] He was appointed Secretary to King Louis XV of France (1710–1774) on 11 November 1741.

[1][2][3][4][5] As a result of this appointment, he earned the marquisate of Fonscolombe (inherited by all his direct male heirs).

[2][6] They had five sons and five daughters: In 1720, he commissioned the Château de Fonscolombe[7] in Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, listed as a monument historique since 1989.
