Howard N. Rabinowitz

Howard N. Rabinowitz (June 19, 1942 – July 11, 1998) was a professor at the University of New Mexico and an author[1][2] who wrote about African American history and the history of Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he lived.

[3][4][5] He received his undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College and his M.A.

and PhD from the University of Chicago.

His thesis was titled The Search for Social Control: Race Relations in the Urban South, 1865-1890.
