It forms a U shape around the southern part of Duncan Township, bordering Duncan Township to the east, north and west.

Liberty Township forms the eastern border.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 646 people, 246 households, and 184 families residing in the township.

There were 246 households, out of which 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.2% were married couples living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.8% were non-families.

21.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
