Huarochirí (in hispanicized spelling) or Waruchiri[1] is located in the Lima Region of Peru.

The western section is part of the Lima Metropolitan Area.

One of the highest peaks of the province is Paryaqaqa at 5,750 metres (18,865 ft) above sea level.
