Hulice is a municipality and village in Benešov District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
Hulice consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] The name is derived from the personal name Hula.
The municipality is situated on the shores of the Švihov Reservoir, built on the Želivka River.
Until the Hussite Wars, the village belonged to the Štěpánov estate, owned by Prague archbishopric.
[6] In Hulice is the Vodní dům ("water house"), a visitor centre of the Švihov Reservoir with an exposition on water treatment and with game elements for both children and adults.
