Hume MRT station

Hume MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station located along the junction of Hume Avenue and Upper Bukit Timah Road in the Hillview planning sub-zone of Bukit Batok, Singapore.

The new station is planned to open by 2025,[3] but MP Low Yen Ling has mentioned that construction work could start in the fourth quarter of 2020, with a veteran MRT contractor claiming that retrofitting of the station for operational service could take between "one and one-and-a-half years".

[6] The company was originally founded by brothers Ernest James and Walter Reginald Hume in Adelaide, Australia.

[12][13][14][15] Construction works started on 28 February 2021 with MP Low Yen Ling and Health Minister Gan Kim Yong in attendance.

[19] In January 2025, the LTA announced that the opening date would be brought forward to 28 February 2025 at 1500 hours.
