Huxi, Penghu

Huxi Township[1][3] (Chinese: 湖西鄉; pinyin: Húxī Xiāng; Wade–Giles: Hu2-hsi1 Hsiang1; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ô͘-sai-hiong;[4] Pha̍k-fa-sṳ: Fù-sî-hiông) is a rural township in Penghu County (the Pescadores), Taiwan.

Huxi Township was administered as Kosei Village (湖西庄) during the Japanese era.

Huxi Township includes ten minor islands.

Among them, Guoye village is famous for its sunrise since it is at the most eastern corner of Penghu main island.

Beiliao village is considered as a beautiful place because of multiple sea views and a hill.
