Hyperolius fusciventris

[1][2] Common name lime reed frog has been coined for this species.

[2][3] The species is found, from west to east, in Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, and Cameroon.

[3][4] Male advertisement call consists of two parts, an initial "creak" followed by a small number of "clicks" in rapid succession.

However, the subspecies Hyperolius f. lamtoensis is threatened by habitat loss caused by agriculture, logging and human settlements.

The species is found in a number of protected areas, e.g., in the Taï National Park (Ivory Coast),[1] and the Ankasa Conservation Area and Kakum National Park in Ghana.
