Hypselodoris tryoni is a species of sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the genus Chromodorididae.
It is reported to occur widely in the tropical Western Pacific Ocean from Australia to the Philippines.
[8] Sea slugs such as Hypselodoris tryoni, are known to exhibit trailing behaviour where up to four animals will follow one another very closely, often touching.
[9] Hypselodoris tryoni reaches at least 60 mm in length and has been observed to raise and lower its head while crawling.
When feeding they are sometimes accompanied by a group of shrimp, Periclimenes imperator, in an apparent form of commensalism.
