INS Beas was a Leopard-class frigate of the Indian Navy.
Beas served in the Battle at Mormugão harbour 1961 and during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
In 1954, the British Admiralty ordered the sixth anti-aircraft frigate of the Leopard-class for the Indian order as INS Beas.
[1] She carried pennant number F137,[2] in 1980s changed to F37.
[3] Beas took part in amphibious landings at Cox's Bazar alongside her sister ship INS Brahmaputra, landing divers in advance of the landing and providing gunfire support to the landings.
