Ian Kent (born July 4, 1961) is a Canadian para table tennis player.
[1] Kent was born in Welling in London then he moved to Canada with his parents as a young child, his mother is a former British track and field athlete.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and psychology from Saint Mary's University.
In 1999, Kent was aged 38, was diagnosed with dystonia and was bedridden for two years.
He has competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics and also 2018 Commonwealth Games but did not advance to the final rounds in both tournaments.
