Ian Rawlings

He developed a keen interest in betting on the horses at the age of eight when his printer father Ken and grandfather Len first took him to the races in Adelaide.

Rawlings initially worked on and off loading trucks at a freight company before his acting career took off.

[1] When Sons and Daughters suddenly got axed, Rawlings gave up acting and took on a job with the freight company he previously worked at, this time as a salesman.

[2][better source needed] He also ran Chatterley's, a beauty salon in Homebush, Sydney, and undertook courses with the Australian Council of Health, Physical Education and Recreation, with the idea of working in a gym.

[citation needed] Rawlings has most recently worked as a bingo host at Werribee Rotary Club in Victoria.
