Ignatius A. Onimawo

Ignatius A. Onimawo (born July 20, 1957) is a Nigerian academic, nutritionist, researcher, and former vice-chancellor, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Nigeria.

He was admitted into the University of Ibadan in 1977, in the department of agricultural biochemistry and nutrition; graduating with a bachelor of science degree (second class upper division) in 1982.

[4] [citation needed]Onimawo started his career in 1983 as a lecturer III in the science technology department of the Federal Polytechnic, Idah in Kogi State.

In 2024 he was appointed as the Pro Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Federal University of Technology Babura, Jigawa State.
