Zuzens has campaigned for the House of Commons of Canada and the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba on a total of four occasions.
At the provincial level, Zuzens campaigned for the Libertarian Party of Manitoba in 1999 and as an independent in 2003.
The LPM was registered for the 2003 election, and it is unclear why Zuzens ran as an independent.

He received 106 votes (1.54%), finishing fourth against Progressive Conservative candidate Leanne Rowat.
