The InterDance Fest is the largest contemporary dance festival in Southeastern Europe.
[6] The 2017 edition hosted over 4,000 performers representing 84 international dance clubs from 46 countries.
[7][8] The Aster Dance Club was founded in 1986 in Sarajevo, then part of SFR Yugoslavia and was named after American dancer, choreographer and actor, Fred Astaire.
[9] It was originally part of the Slobodan Princip "Seljo" Student Cultural Club.
In 2017, the organizers signed a cooperation agreement with the 2019 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival.
