Irene S. Lemos FSA is a British classical archaeologist and academic, specialising in the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age of Greece.

[1] Lemos obtained her BA from the University of Athens and her doctorate from Somerville College, Oxford.

Her doctoral thesis was titled "Regional characteristics in the Protogeometric Period" and was completed in 1988.

[2] After her doctorate, she got a fellowship at Somerville and St Peter's College, Oxford.

[3] She is a corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute, a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.
