Ismat Ara Sadique (1 September 1941 – 21 January 2020)[1][2] was a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the state minister of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and Ministry of Public Administration.

[6] In 1956, she graduated from Bogra VM Girls school, and in 1958 from Holy Cross College, Dhaka.

She was the president of Shathi Samajkalayan Sangstha, a charity providing free treatment to students and school supplies.

Her husband was a Bangladesh Awami League politician, member of parliament, and former minister of education.

[7] Her younger brother, Mamdudur Rahman Choudhury, was a former Jatiya Party minister.
