Issam Hamel (born 16 June 1997) is an Algerian rugby union player who plays for CA Brive in the Pro D2.
[1][2][3] Hamel began his career at CS Bourgoin-Jallieu joining as a cadet while at school.
However, after 2 years with only 2 appearances, totalling on 31 minutes, he left to join USON Nevers seeking more game time.
[4] He made his debut for the Pro D2 side in Round One of the 2020/21 season coming off the bench.
[7][8] Hamel made his debut for the Algerian national side in 2017, featuring in a 36–13 win over Tunisia in the Maghreb Tri-nations.
