Issifou Taffa Tabiou is a Togolese political figure who has been President of the National Independent Electoral Commission (CENI) in Togo since October 2009.
Tabiou Taffa is from Bassar in the Kara Region of northern Togo.
He was subsequently a Technical Adviser to the Ministry of Territorial Administration,[1] and he was sworn in as one of the 17 members of CENI on 1 September 2009, in preparation for the 2010 presidential election.
[3] Tabiou Taffa was then elected by consensus as President of CENI on 14 October 2009,[1][3] resolving the controversy.
