[2] Soroka played at amateur club level for UCD, Clontarf in the All-Ireland League.
He won an under 20 Interprovincial championship in 2013, Leinster Senior Cup in 2015 and an AIL title in 2016 with the team.
[3][4] Soroka trained with provincial side Connacht in the 2016–17 preseason, being part of the team's squad for a friendly with Montpellier.
[5] In October 2016, it was announced that he had signed a one-year contract with the side, his first professional team.
He is qualified to play for Ireland internationally, but did not represent any Irish under-age teams.
