Izzy Engle

Isabela Engle (born 2006) is an American college soccer player who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

She played high school soccer for Edina High School, which she helped reach the state semifinals in 2021, finish runner-up in 2022, and go undefeated 22–0 and claim the state championship in 2023.

[6] She played club soccer for Minnesota Thunder Academy, where she was a five-time ECNL first-team all-conference selection.

[6] Engle scored a hat trick against Samford in her second game for Notre Dame Fighting Irish, which made her the first Notre Dame freshman with a hat trick since Melissa Henderson in 2008.

[8] She scored three goals in four games of the NCAA tournament, helping lead Notre Dame to the quarterfinals.
