Jonathan Michael Spector is an American academic working as the professor of learning technologies and the doctoral program coordinator at the University of North Texas.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in international affairs from the United States Air Force Academy in 1967 and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978.

Spector's research focuses on intelligent support for instructional design, assessing learning in complex domains, and technology integration in education.
