[1] Allan is the longest-serving female minister in Victorian state history[2] and currently the most senior sitting member of the Assembly.

During the Victorian Government's response to the COVID-19 health emergency, Allan became a member of the Crisis Council of Cabinet, serving as the Minister for the Coordination of Transport – COVID-19.
