[2] Undrafted out of high school, Anderson attended Pennsylvania State University and played four years of college baseball for the Nittany Lions.
[7][6] Anderson split his professional debut season of 2016 between the AZL Mariners and the Everett AquaSox, going 3–1 with a 1.71 ERA and 18 strikeouts over 21 innings.
[14] On April 4, 2022, Anderson signed with the Kane County Cougars of the American Association of Professional Baseball.
On July 16, 2023, Anderson signed with the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
Anderson graduated from Penn State's Smeal College of Business with a degree in supply chain and information systems.
