John David Baldwin (July 31, 1921 – September 13, 1989) was an American football player who played at the center and linebacker positions.
[3] His college career was interrupted by service in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II.
He played in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) for the New York Yankees (1946-1947), San Francisco 49ers (1947), and Buffalo Bills (1948).
He also played in the Canadian Football League for the Edmonton Eskimos for 10 games during the 1949 season.
He was employed as the manager at Nevada Distributing from 1962 to 1973 and head of security for Kennecott Copper from 1973 to 1982.
