The weather had been on and off for the entire day, but in race three Goff made a last-minute dive into the pits to put on wet tyres, while teammate Boardley retired before the start.

Alongside Aiden Moffat, he stormed to the front of the field and lead the rest of the race to the chequered flag, giving Tony Gilham his team's first overall win.
